Many patients are frustrated with the limited treatment options for TMJ problems. These issues can range from chronic headaches, feeling that your bite is unstable, frequently chipping teeth and facial pain.

If so, our office also offers a variety of sleep appliances to help reduce snoring and to help patients cope with sleep apnea. Although there are many options, the most popular sleep appliance is the TAP.
In addition to traditional dentistry, our office also offers several facial esthetic treatment options. Dr. Whenry is an expert of facial anatomy, and is accustomed to working precisely. This makes treatments safe and reduces the chances of unwanted results.
These treatments include:
Botox is an injectable muscle relaxer that is used to diminish the appearance of wrinkles. It is typically used on the forehead and around the eyes. However, Dr. Whenry is an expert injector and has advanced techniques that are able to address problematic areas.
Many patients are nervous about receiving treatment because they do not want to look artificial. Dr. Whenry believes in a conservative approach that allows patients to start with a “light” treatment and increase dosage over time.
Most treatment areas require 20-15 units for satisfactory results. Our price is $12.50 per unit. Treatment is quick and appointments last 15-20 minutes. Injection sites are practically invisible, and treatment will not hinder your day.

Juvederm is a cosmetic filler that is typically used to smooth wrinkles that span from the nose to the chin. Juvederm is also an ideal filler for the lips. This treatment is more involved that Botox treatments. We recommend that you prepare for slight bruising and swelling.
Juvederm is supplied in prefilled tube. Each tube is $800. Most patients prefer to start with one tube and decide if they need more at a later date.
This product is relatively new to the Allergan family and is designed to melt away your double chin. It breaks down the fat cells beneath your chin so that they cannot refill.
Most patients need 3 treatments administered 4-6 weeks apart. However, some patients need up to 6 treatments. Most people experience swelling and discomfort for 2-3 days after treatment.
